Responding to the need for reconstruction of fire-stricken areas in Greece, J&P-AVAX has agreed in a joint move with other technical groups to construct free of any charge all flood projects in the Peloponnese, a region where our Company will soon commence the construction of large concession-based highways. Greece's Public Works Minister Mr Souflias asked construction companies to give priority to flood projects in rivers and creeks of fire-struck areas and works have already commenced.
Attikes Diadromes SA, the operating company of the Athens Ring Road concession in which J&P-AVAX controls a 30.8% stake, already donated ?100,000 towards the population of the affected areas.
The Athens Ring Road concession has also pledged to finance all design studies and works towards forest rehabilitation of the Pendeli and Ymittos mountains in the Attica region. Marousi, September 06, 2007 THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
